Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2025 -(POSITION FILLED)

Our team is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to work with our Lakeland office. Our interns gain exposure to real projects while working side by side with staff.

The internship start date may be flexible and is intended to extend at least 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, or related, undergraduate or graduate program.

• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.

• Experience with AutoCAD software is preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering and office tasks.

• Learn basic principles of Civil Engineering and the latest design software used in the state.

• Assist with project research and preliminary design calculations and analysis.

• Support preparation of design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.

• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
